I welcome you to the Official WEBSITE of Kathua District, a site designed to disseminate information about Kathua District, the Gateway to Jammu & Kashmir, the site has been designed and hosted with the pioneering efforts of NATIONAL INFORMATICS CENTRE. It will bring the District closer to the people of State and rest of the country. The website is presented through various modules containing information on different aspects. The module About Kathua carries information on background/introduction, history, administrative setup, area, population, religious places, tourist places, WHO’s WHO, treking routes, Basohli Paintings, National Fish Seed Farm, MNIC Project, CIC project and available infrastructure in district Kathua. This website would be updated from time to time and suggestions from users for improving its contents would be appreciated. I Congratulate NIC Kathua and staff of Deputy Commissioner’s office, for their commendable efforts in bringing district Kathua on the Internet. I am sure kathua.nic.in will serve the purpose for which it is being launched.
